I had intermittent problems with the air conditioning in my Honda CRV. One afternoon, it stopped blowing cool air. I took it to our local tire shop that also did some mechanic work for us. They called me within an hour and told me the compressor was out and it would be $1300 to fix. I told them I wanted to think about it and went to pick up the SUV. I called a friend of ours to see if they could recommend someone to give us a second opinion. He recommended Mark. We drove the car to his shop. When we explained the problem and where we had taken the car, he told us they were an honest shop but he would be happy to look at it. We left the car and the next day we received a call saying they replaced a switch in the compressor for $190. He said he could not guarantee that would fix it but we all agreed it was worth trying. One month later, I have cold air and no problem with the air conditioner. I have a new mechanic! Thrilled to have Mark's Automotive in our area.
